The Den is a lovely, homely space within an absolutely beautiful house. The small kitchenette came fully laden with tea, coffee and biscuits which was a nice touch and the Sky TV in the lounge was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Very comfy beds within quiet grounds ensured a good night's rest. My home-cooked breakfast was made to order, punctually brought to my room by Liz and was absolutely delicious. There is also a pleasant little pub within walking distance of the house which was a great recommendation for dinner.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the room was beautiful and so comfortable! It’s outside of the city so nice and quiet in the evenings, but also just along the cost so you see the beautiful sea view and can have a little stroll too! The whole place is very relaxing and I fell in love with the bath!

Everything was just lovely. We've had food in this pub before but this was our first overnight stay. Our room was very comfortable and with plenty of space. The only tiny issue was was that the bathroom was a bit cold as there was no radiator but the shower was nice and hot so not that big an issue I guess ! I would definitely stay here again.

Were told today by friends that The George had recently changed hands and that local feeling was the pub had gone donwhill. It was clean, bed comfortable, but we were not expecting to eat breakfast in our room and the food provided was very poor. We used to live in the village and were expecting better service.

Nicer than staying in central Bristol and the price difference more than covers lots of car parking. Good for visiting Tyntesfield, SS Great Britain, Clifton and Bristol. We stayed at the Rising Sun as an overnight stop. We ate there and would recommend others to do the same. No particular dislikes, friendly welcome, smart accommodation cosy dining area. Good anti covid measures in place.
